SANTO DOMINGO.- The price of the US dollar in the Dominican Republic has increased since December 27 and during the first days of January.
The sale of the North American currency went from trading at RD$57. 36 on December 27, at RD$57. 79 this Friday, January 7th.
In the first week of 2022, the dollar registered an average sale price of RD$57.67.
Some sectors estimate that the price of the foreign currency in the Dominican Republic will rise this year to RD$60.43 per dollar.
